My name is Bronwyn,I am 34 years old. I applied to rewrite my matric in June 2024 and opted to redo all my subjects (6) after 17 years ( I was in matric in 2007). I immediately knew that it was going to be hard work and a challenging journey ahead.

My son signed up for extra Maths lessons in 2020 to prepare for his Matric Mathematics supplementary exam. The aim was to improve his pure Maths mark to gain entry into the university of his choice.
From the onset we were impressed with the professional conduct of this husband and wife team. We were issued with an enrolment form and fixed duration contract which provided me with a sense of comfort. Mr Beattie's passion for Mathematics was immediately evident during our initial interview and I got the sense that my son will be in good hands. We also found his hourly rate to be very competitive with other tutors.
My son clicked well with him and displayed a greater grasp of the subject. Mr Beattie provides regular progress updates and informs us timeously of requests for information from School Teachers. Although we are still awaiting the results of the supplementary exam, which was only written in November 2020. I am confident that we will see an improvement in his Maths marks.
Because we were so impressed with Mr Beattie's services, we terminated the services of my daughter's Maths tutor during the first part of 2020 and also enrolled her with Mr Beattie. She is currently in grade 10 and is very comfortable with the new arrangement. Due to the national lockdown the tutor lessons were very limited, but I am looking forward to see improved Mathematics marks in 2021.
Both Mr and Mrs Beattie are very supportive and display a keen interest in both of our children. Their encouraging text messages ahead of an exam are much appreciated together with their follow ups post an exam.
